I discovered the Alexander Technique while living in London, U K. It helped me to cope mentally and physically with the stresses of living and working in a big city. The effects after just after one session were immediate and dramatic. I stopped crossing my arms and legs while sitting, stopped holding my breath while talking to strangers, stopped habitually raising my shoulders. My natural poise and ease of movement returned.
