I enjoy assisting grade 9 learners with school subject selection, grade 11's with University applications and school leavers who did not gain access to university to explore alternative vocations, private colleges or fields of study. I have worked successfully with adults to redefine their careers for optimal growth, achievement and financial success. An experienced Registered Counsellor (HPCSA PRC0040550) (Practice no.1021230), Career Guidance Practitioner and accredited DJCD Court Annexed Mediator. I work with a range of clients and families.

General Information.

The role of the Registered Counsellor is to extend psychological services and make them accessible to the diverse South African population. A Registered Counsellor conducts psychological and preventative interventions that focus on the promotion and enhancement of psychosocial well-being for individuals, families, groups and communities. Registered Counsellors differ from other categories of psychology in that they are psychological professionals who perform psychological screening, basic assessment and psychological interventions with individuals and groups, aimed at enhancing personal functioning. In that my function is to prevent, promote, intervene, and appropriately refer.
