We have a full array of professionally qualified staff: GP and psychiatrist, several psychologists, 24-hour registered nurses, as well as a social worker, occupational therapist, registered counsellors and certified addiction counsellors. We work in close collaboration with our psychiatrist attending weekly case management meetings to offer an effective and personalised treatment plan for each patient.
Should their plan allow, our medical aid patients see a psychologist every day, and we were the first rehab in SA to provide BWRT (BrainWorking Recursive Therapy) to our patients. Our clinicians are trained in various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care among others. This eclectic approach allows us to cater to the unique needs and challenges of every patient while considering their mental health status.
In addition to therapeutic interventions, we have medical personnel available 24/7 to provide immediate and efficient medical care. They are well-equipped to handle both the physical and psychological aspects of withdrawal and detoxification.
We know that for severe dependencies treatment lengths of less than 90 days are of little value, so we offer long-term secondary care as well as halfway houses to assist with reintegration. We have family conjoints and offer a Zoom meeting for families weekly providing ongoing support for families and facilitating healthy dynamics post-treatment.
